The black skimmer is a tern-like seabird, one of three very similar birds species in the skimmer family. It breeds in North and South America. In this photograph it appears that the skimmer flying right at me. It has a minimalistic feel to it.
About Melinda Dreyer
An avid gardener and nature lover, I have always had a camera in my hand.
